To all my Fashionistas in Cyberland,
Spring Trends In Clothes and Make Up
Metallics in shades of silver, gold, and copper are the accent colors to have in both your makeup and clothes wardrobe including glitzy handbags (metallic clutches), gold and silver chain bangles, mini dresses, shoes, trench coats, and evening sweaters. Makeupcomplements this style with gold pink, gold red, golden coral, and rose gold, that golden shade being the undertone of the eye shadow and lipstick. The colors are gorgeous and soft-looking on the face. They complement every skin tone.
Romantic is a second key description of clothes and make up styles. Dresses, skirts, camisoles, and frilly blouses are laced with bows and flower in fabrics of eyelet, silk brocade, and tulle. Ballet flats are the perfect complement to this style but you might choose the more dramatic high heeled sandals. The makeup for this look is soft pastel shades in shadows, blushes, and lipsticks. The textures are sheer and sateen finished. Colors range from soft pink, green, violet, peach, yellow, and beige.
The Bohemian Look is for the non-conformists out there. It features fringe-trimmed dresses, vests, skirts, and boots. Peasant blouses look great with this style. The complementing makeup is simple, basic, and clean with brown being the dominating color in the eyes and cheeks. Lips are pale.
The 70s Punk Rock is reinvented with glossy, wet-looking patent leather trench coats, bags, shoes, and boots. The perfect makeup for this look is dark and smokey on the eyes with pale, pale lips. My Drama Queen Look with micro Sahara lipstick is perfect for this fashion statement.
Military is yet another theme in clothes, utilizing cargo pants, camp shirts, safari style shorts, and belted jackets. The make up for this style includes earthy tones in the eye, cheek, and lip.Eithermy Safari Queen Look or the Marigold Kisses Look is just the ticket for happy hunting. Black and white blended together with silver tones are spring’s coolest color combination. The Drama Queen Look which incorporates black, white, sliver, and grey on the eyes with a red cheek and lip would look great with the military style as well as the other two. Quoting Elle Magazine, “The overall effect is to reflect one’s personality with a positive hopefulness. The perfect remedy for any woman looking to dress for a thinking feeling world.”
